Ride the State Bike Ride Showcases Connecticut’s Spine-Trail Network

56-mile ride on the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail from New Haven to Southwick, MA

The Farmington Valley Trails Council, Farmington Canal Rail to Trail Association and the East Coast Greenway Alliance are teaming up to host a 56-mile bike ride to draw attention to the remaining gaps in the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail on Saturday, June 25 from New Haven, CT to Southwick, MA, the majority of which is on the extensive trail system with only a few sections on carefully selected local roads.

Keep in mind that the first 50 registered can get a bus ride back to New Haven for an additional $20.  


8:00 am departure -- at the southwest corner of New Haven Green Corner of Chapel and College Streets at the Pierre Lallement Memorial Stone.

3:00 pm end time in Southwick, MA.  Shuttle back to New Haven soon after.
